Speed and consumption are based in good weather conditions which are up to Beaufort force 4 and Douglas seastate 3 with no adverse current & no negative influence of swell. Calculations of vessels performance on both laden & ballast passages has to be based upon an average speed/consumption during weather days up to Beaufort 4 & Douglas seastate 3. For the purpose of this C/P laden or ballast speed & Consumption for period of weather in excess of Beaufort 4 & Douglas seastate 3 is to be expressly excluded from calculations. The Vessel is at liberty to burn MDO in main engine when on standby, during heavy weather, while maneuvering between narrow waters, canals, rivers, channels, entering/leaving ports and when main engine is on low load. In cold climate ports necessitating the use of the boiler the vessels consumes one extra ton of IFO per day.
